Duckpin bowling pins at Hollow Pines

Downstairs at Hollow Pines

Duckpin Bowling

A more relaxed, social take on bowling — tucked inside the downstairs bar.

What is Duckpin?

Four lanes of duckpin bowling are tucked inside the downstairs bar. Shorter lanes, smaller pins, one-size balls with no holes — it keeps the pace up and the energy high.

The name "Duckpin" comes from how the pins resemble a row of decoys carried by a duck hunter. The game originated in a Baltimore bar owned by early professional baseball players — a pastime rooted in American recreation.

At Hollow Pines, it felt like a natural fit: a nod to the Pine Barrens, its sporting heritage, and the long tradition of duck hunting in this region.

Walk-Up Lanes

Lanes are first-come, first-served. A manager is always on hand to help guide the flow so everyone gets a chance to play.

All Ages Welcome

Duckpin bowling is fun for everyone. No special shoes needed, no heavy balls — just roll and play.
